Hidden Treasures Within PlogDog Press

PlotDog Press is a blog that is well-known for its weekly writing contests, in which I joined once, but didn't place at all. Bummer. However, upon further investigation of the blog during one of my nighttime lurkings, I've discovered that not only does this blog offers weekly contests, it contains two of the best kept secret treasures out there in the blogosphere! Terry L. Raun, the author, has been posting his novel and screenplay serially. Both of the stories will get you hooked the way they got me. I'm finally up to date with the "Intervention" screenplay.

In Intervention, there is Jane the wife, whom you would probably hate because she's manipulative, deceitful, and schemer. There's Dick, the husband, whom you should feel sorry for, instead, you want to yell at him or want to kick him in the but because he's such a weakling, henpecked husband who plays along whatever his wife wants him to do. And there's the Senator, who plays a bad one, by having an affair with Jane and wants Jane for himself.

Presently, I'm trying to catch up on the "Dead Play" novel. I'm still in the first few postings where charactrers are being introduced. The plot is thickening at the last post that I read. In one episode, Eddie, husband of Candy who died of accidental choking, is someone you would probably loathe because he's a scumbag. In another episode, the lives of John, a DA, and Victoria, John's ex-wife and an ex-lead sex crime investigator turned Madamme, were introduced in a tensed and heated verbal battle. These are a must reads if you like Thriller/ Mystery novels.

No, I'm not getting paid to promote these novels. I just thought that they're worth the exposure to more readers, since they are both excellent reads. I don't want to hog them all to myself.

Thanks for reading this post.

Hi Lilly,
Thanks so much for reading and commenting. Thanks also for that great compliment about my novel. Do you know anybody who would want to edit my novel? Hehe.

Good night,
Tasha

Hi Tasha,
I'll check out all the links. I love your 'night-time lurking'.

The husband of one of my artist friends just published his first novel. Earth-the Cure. I thought you might enjoy checking him out. He's a fiction writer:

Plot Dog,
That was so sweet of you to think that I'm the Treasure, instead of your works. Thank you.

I'm so glad you approved of it. I was actually feeling nervous that I might get a scolding from you. So, this is great that you appreciated it. I tried not to give away too much of the story.

I wish you all the best, and I'll be waiting for my signed copy(ies).

Good Day,
Tasha

How can anyone love spinach? I will eat it if it's hidden inside something else but that's about it! :)

You're right, of course, plotdog is a great blog and there's some great writing going on over there. You should submit again, really.

Wow, Ken!
You finally made it to my blog. Your visit is much appreciated. I do, I do love spinach. If you saute the spinach with garlic and some bits of bacon pieces and eat it with some white rice, hmm, it's the yummiest. Now I'm hungry thinking about it.

Thanks again for stopping by, and you're welcome to stop by anytime. It's good to chat with people from your neck of the woods.
