What Tarot Card Am I?

I visited Liz' Simple Reveries site (http://simplereveries.blogspot.com/)and saw this in her post. I thought it would be fun to find out what kind of a tarot card I am, so I took the test. I'm now posting the result of it here. Enjoy.

You are The Hierophant

Divine Wisdom. Manifestation. Explanation. Teaching.

All things relating to education, patience, help from superiors. The Hierophant is often considered to be a Guardian Angel.

The Hierophant's purpose is to bring the spiritual down to Earth. Where the High Priestess between her two pillars deals with realms beyond this Earth, the Hierophant (or High Priest) deals with worldly problems. He is well suited to do this because he strives to create harmony and peace in the midst of a crisis. The Hierophant's only problem is that he can be stubborn and hidebound. At his best, he is wise and soothing, at his worst, he is an unbending traditionalist.

What Tarot Card are You?

OH MY.... Big job here!

I am the WORLD!

Completion, Good Reward.

The World is the final card of the Major Arcana, and as such represents saturnian energies, time, and completion.

The World card pictures a dancer in a Yoni (sometimes made of laurel leaves). The Yoni symbolizes the great Mother, the cervix through which everything is born, and also the doorway to the next life after death. It is indicative of a complete circle. Everything is finally coming together, successfully and at last. You will get that Ph.D. you've been working for years to complete, graduate at long last, marry after a long engagement, or finish that huge project. This card is not for little ends, but for big ones, important ones, ones that come with well earned cheers and acknowledgements. Your hard work, knowledge, wisdom, patience, etc, will absolutely pay-off; you've done everything right.

Lilly: I'm glad you like this one. I like the kind of tarot card you are. The description fits you like a glove, because this is what I envision you in person. And I mean that as a great compliment.

Jena: Ahh...but you're the one who's actually practicing the teaching part of it. However, I really do feel the kindredship between us.

Jules: The world is a lot of responsibility on your shoulders, but I have faith in you, pardner, that you can do the job. Also, now, you have the incentive to finish your Ph. D. you've been putting off. Hehe. You go girl and conquer the world.

Eric: I guess I wasn't way off when I thought that perhaps you're somewhat of a recluse, eh? Hehehe. But that's okay. You can't be too much of a hermit since you're at least socializing with people on line. I must say that you have an awesome blog. Keep up the good work you're doing for other bloggers on your Mondays On The Net. Thanks again.

Petula: Thanks for accepting my invitation. I'm glad you like this one. You're very welcome to post it in your blog also.

Sorry Eric and others. I should make a correction on my comment about Eric's blog. I meant to say "Monday's Writers of the Web," instead of "Mondays on the Net". Please accept my apology, Eric.

Very nice. (But we always knew you were a good soul, right?) I'll have to take this too...although I'm a little worried about what it will turn out.

tashabud said...

Henson, thanks for dropping by. Yes, this is a bit of fun like Lilly said. I'm off to your blog to see what kind of Tarot card you are.

I didn't post it on my blog, but I turned out to be...um...er...The Empress...because of my high amount of creativity. I like the idea behind the card, as it definitely seems to fit me...but THE EMPRESS? Couldn't I just be the Emperor instead? I'd hate to have to wear all those long flowing gowns, jewelry and heavy headgear.

tashabud said...

Henson, congratulation. I'm glad you agree with your Tarot card. You should still go ahead and post it. Is it against the law to tweak the image with the power of computer graphics to make it look like the Emperor? On the other hand, as an artist and someone who loves theater, you wouldn't mind donning a complete Empress garb just for this once, would you? Hehe. I promise, I will not think any less of you.
